On Windows tablets/computers and iPads you can run Slideshow as a screen saver or on a second screen. Running the slideshow on the second screen will allow you to continue to share from the main screen while the slideshow is running.
With Windows computers you can connect a second monitor or TV directly via HDMI or other available video cable. iPads must use Apple AirPlay to project to a second screen.
Part 1 will show you how to enable and configure a slideshow in the Windows Kiosk, and Part 2 will do the same for the iPad Kiosk.
Part 1. Windows Kiosk Slideshow
1.
Double click or tap the antenna icon in the bottom right corner of the Kiosk main screen or press S to open Settings. Click on the Slideshow Tab and check the Enable slideshow box.
Under Slideshow Mode, you can adjust the settings of how your Slideshow displays your media.
- All images will run through all of the files in your Photo Party Upload library in order.
- Most Recent Image will always display the most recent image added to the library.
- Random will randomize which file is displayed.
- Most Recent Image + All will display the most recent image for the duration you have chosen on the right side of your screen, then return to running through all of the files in your library.
Orientation will change the orientation of the slideshow from Landscape to Portrait.
Margin % will add a margin to the slideshow and shrink the slideshow images to make them fit. If you add a slideshow overlay in your event settings, the overlay will not be affected by Margin % and continue to display full screen. However, the media displayed underneath the overlay will still be affected.
Slide Duration adjusts how long each file is displayed.
Transition Duration adjusts how long transition is between files.
Number of GIF Loops adjusts how many times the slideshow will loop any GIFs that you have in your library.
Use full size images will display images in the slideshow at full resolution. By default, images displayed in slideshow are lower resolution thumbnail images. Activating Use full size images will increase the amount of data going through your local network.

Main Screen: Will allow you to set any connected screen as the main screen. Usually, this is set to DISPLAY1.
4.
Adverts will allow you to display advertisements at specified intervals in your slideshow. Simply check Enable Adverts and specify a folder containing your advertisement files by clicking Browse.
Fixed interval will display your adverts every X number of photos/videos/GIFs.
Random will display your adverts randomly between the first and second number of photos/videos/GIFs.
